In Alego East sub-location, Migori County, a 34-year-old woman is still missing, four days after being abducted along with her 13-year-old daughter who was also defiled on January 13, 2024. The Awendo Sub-County residents are urging the police to accelerate the investigation to uncover the fate of the abducted woman.

The unfortunate incident occurred at night in the woman’s residence, where three unidentified individuals kidnapped her, also taking Ksh.6000. One of the suspects defiled her teenage daughter. The community remains on edge, awaiting the resolution of this distressing situation.
